Gossip

Gossip, it is one of the World's oldest forms of conversation,

Written or spoken,

And has become the most common means of passing information.

The implying and sharing of unproven facts and views,

Of another's life and their affairs, that is either trivial or personal.

That is used by many in the secular world,

And even today, reaches into and distorts the faith of many in the religious world.

Remember, many will and have purposely induced errors,

And other variations of truth wrapped in untruths,

To embellish the information that they want communicate to another,

In their personal and twisted way to infect others with what they transmit.

Keep every conversation honest, pure, and out of the lives of others.

Don't become a gossip, the spreader of gossip!

Don't be the one that implies and shares unproven facts and views,

Of another's life and their affairs, that is either trivial or personal.

Gossip only brings blame and shame,

As payment into the lives of all involved,

Because of the transmissions of such nonsense,

That builds only indifference and hate.

Blame, is the outward expression of a penalty,

When one accuses or denounces another,

For what they have heard, of their word or deed, and believe as truth.

Thereby placing guilt upon them, the responsibility and liability,

For such words or deeds passed about them.

The ownership of shame then taken and placed upon them,

And condemning them unjustly, not knowing the truth within them.

Keep your ears from hearing, and your mouth from passing,

And by this, keep your heart wrapped within the purity of the Lord's Love.

Always keeping your eyes upon Him and daily following God's Word,

Seeing all with eyes like His that see all as all in Him.

Speak only words of encouragement to build one another and others within Him,

Reach out and share their load along life's way,

Until that day we walk and talk with Him.

Lord, guide my thoughts and build me within with Your Love for others,
