A Birthday Thank You Card

A Birthday Thank You Card to My Lord and Savior,

Jesus Christ

Lord, Thank You, 

Thank You, for reaching out and saying, “I love and care for you,” 

And God's Loving Grace, allowing me to become a member of The Family of the Most High. 

For from that day, You have not only been my friend, guide, and teacher of life. 

You have been there when I laughed with joy in the birth of a child and all the happiness of life. 

You have been there when I cried my heart out,

 Because of the death of a love one and all the sadness of life. 

You have seen me through the best and worst of times and everything in between. 

You have heard every prayer and interceded for me with God,
He answered in His way and time, for You have always been faithful to me. 

You have touched my heart with kindness and care, 

Either to bind and grow or to bring comfort and healing. 

Every day as I look upon the empty cross and remember the price of love from You for me, 

I feel even more love than I felt the day before. 

A history together, a tapestry woven with treads of memories, of Your love for me. 

Today, The Word is so much a part of me and my happiness and way of life, 

That it's impossible for me to imagine what life would have been without. 

I ask nothing more than that of spending of eternity with and serving You. 

Until I look upon Your Face that day at God's Table of Grace, 

Thank You, for reaching out to me and saying, "I love and care for you."
