Time Given

Nothing is Never Really Yours Until You Give it Away!

Time Given 

For Time like His Love is freely given. 

God controls the beginning and ending of all life, 

For all seen and unseen created by God with His touch of Pure Light. 

In addition, He gave life wrapped in His Love to you and me. 

For time started that first moment, 

God touched and split the dark with His Light, 

Marking and making that First Day from the dark of night. 

Then He in Love created all life from nothing, 

To walk each day free in time in His Light, 

To live with and care for one another,

The choice to give that time to another lies within the heart therein, 

For when time is given to help build another within, 

It has a value worth more than the entire world's wealth then.

From times beginning to beyond times ending,

For in Heaven the Heart of God has been touched beyond ending, 

When that time from within has been given to start their new beginning. 

When the hands of love reach out and touch their face of need, 

The Face of God has felt the touch of love that has no ending. 

For all can give from their resources to help and share their need, 

But many turn and walk away never to befriend, 

With their love that lives within, to become more than a passing friend.

Because, time given touches the heart to live and love again within, 

Knowing someone cares enough about their condition within then, 

To reach out to help, befriend, and walk with them.

To turn their doubts, worries, and fears they face alone in the dark of night, 

Into hope and love to share tomorrow’s day with the Lord in His Light,

By the sharing of one's time God given with them today, 

By taking a small part of their heavy load away to help and build their day. 

Touch the Heart of God today, 

Bring hope and love out of the dark of night back into the light, 

Walking with and encouraging another in the Lord's Loving Light, 

By the giving of your time, that was given by God to you, to help them. 

Lord, build me today to share my life with those in need, 

And become more than a passing friend,
