When One Hurts Enough Within

When one hurts enough within, 

Before it turns the heart within away from the Lord's Way, 

Because, of the indifference or hate for another,

Of what they have said and done against you yesterday or today, 

Are one thinks they will say or do to and against tomorrow. 

Those feelings will do more to you, 

Then they will ever do to them, 

For it will change your direction of life 

Away from following the Lord in His Light, 

They will stop the building of life in the Word within in Him. 

Remember, those feelings will replace Him with them, indifference and hate. 

Removing God from your life, 

Will not only remove the happiness of today 

And all that awaits for tomorrow, 

It will replace it with an unhealthy attitude for life, 

Wrapped forever in the loneliness of self,

When one has turned from the Lord and God Himself, 

My friend, you have also turned away from everyone and everything

That has true meaning and purpose in your life. 

Remember, to keep your eyes upon 

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, follow Him, 

From whence your strength comes from in Love, 

Daily in prayer, allow God and His Word to guide your life and thoughts. 

See the good in all God's Creation, 

And turn your hurt within over to Him, 

Allowing the Holy Spirit to heal your heart within with the Word of life, 

And thereby, live each day following Christ, 

Building life within the heart in God's purpose and meaning for life. 

Lord, You have been the light that guides my life, 

For I know You are there for me no matter the circumstances of my life,
