Great Faith hath Great Love
Christianity, is not something,
To place upon a shelf, hide in some dresser drawer, or hang within the closet,
Out of sight six days a week and on Sunday cloak oneself within.
Christianity is much more, than just another religion,
Christianity is Love, God's Love for you,
For it was given to all, the whole world, by the Love given by Jesus Christ for all,
Sealed forever by God's Loving Grace,
When His Son, Jesus Christ,
Took our place, for no other could, would, or did!
Christ took the form of a man and came to earth to finish,
To be the completion of God's Holy Word.
Christ was glorified, by way of crucifixion,
That day upon the Cross high atop Mount Calvary,
For all to see and bear witness to and pass on by the Word throughout History,
By way of all the yesterdays, through today, and beyond all the tomorrows,
For it was sealed forever finished,
By God's resurrection of Christ from the Tomb and death's hold.
Today, from that day, the Cross Shouts His Love and Lights the way Home to Him,
To His Love given for you and me that day.
He paid the price for the sins of all, not one sin was missed that day,
For He covered them and cleansed them by His shed blood,
Forgiven, and forgotten-forever,
Nailed upon the Cross with Him and buried that day,
For all, by their free will, in faith's belief accept Him, eternity with Him.
Love is not just mere words spoken to another,
In a Godly way to brighten their day, to complete another day,
Love is what you do, not what you say!
Love is given from within,
And is measured by the degree of sacrifice one willingly gives to and for another,
To encourage, help, and share their load along life's way,
For God sees the Love in the heart within,
Not the value the world places upon mere words and things of man.
"As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.
He also saw a poor widow put in her two mites.
"Truly I tell you," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth;
But she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." (Luke 21:1-4)
Christ, saw the Love wrapped within the Compassion for others in Her Heart.
Pray and ask God for His forgiveness and the Wisdom of His Word,
That builds the Love of Christ with His Compassion for others in Your Heart today,
And brighten their Day!
