America

America has a past of shame and honor. 

The shame of the past continues today, in how we treat one another, 

By the Godly and the ungodly, 

From the poorest to the richest, 

For all have sinned in word and deed to place blame or shame upon another,

To deny love, dreams, encouragement, and hope for tomorrow. 

The honor is in those who stayed together in the past, 

And protected one another to build America then for tomorrow, 

Upon God's foundation of Integrity, 

By all who gave all for Her that heard Freedom's Call, 

For they knew within and felt then, 

What America was and would continue to be tomorrow. 

She is unchanging and unconditional in Love, 

For with open arms She will accept the youngest to oldest, 

No matter what status the world puts upon them, 

And with an open heart educate, 

And build to grow anew and be a part of Her tomorrow. 

Never close America’s gates to the future, 

Without love, a romance or friendship never begins, 

Without a dream, tomorrow is never seen, 

Without encouragement, inspirations would never be, 

Without hope, expectations would die before they have a chance to grow within. 

America is the Freedom to believe, love, hope, dream, and encourage one another. 

Lord, I thank You for this Nation that Stands as a Symbol of Freedom to all in the World, 

And I pray that You protect those who serve Her today, honor those that served, 

And protect an honor the families of those that gave all that Her Flag waves Free today,
