If  One Strays

If one strays, from God's planned purpose of Life,

By not walking beside the Lord and following the Word, 

It will only bring within the unknown wrapped in fear and worry, 

For the Lord keeps the path of life straight, 

When walking beside Him in His Light. 

Following the World's pleasures of life, 

Will only harden the heart, first by scarring with hurt, 

Then by bringing within disbelief and hate,

Wrapped in the world's meaning of happiness, 

"It's my life and I have the right to live it my way today, 

For who knows what tomorrow will bring, see the world today." 

When one is seeing with eyes that only see the pleasures of life in the world of self, 

It always starts by turning the eyes inward to look upon self,

Then over time distorting and covering the reflection of Christ, Himself. 

By wrapping with the dust of wasted time one's Integrity of Character in Christ from within,

Aided by withdrawing the hands of caring for and sharing with others,

Replacing them with the tongue, 

That only has remarks to share that never care, 

For they are filled with words of hurt from within, self centered, 

Built of and filled with disbelief and hate for the world of others. 

We all have faults, habits, and problems, 

Which have changed us in many ways from the good. 

However, we must remember, 

The words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, "I love and care for you," 

For He has the power to change the heart within,

He can still the wind, or bring calm within, 

To face the dark of night, Death's cold hold alone in Him. 

He can look within the heart, 

And see for He knows what lies buried and hidden within, my friend, 

You have to release them to Him. 

By His word, He has given all the power 

To build with His love the trust, 

The Trust that reaches out to Him,

And is wrapped from within the faith that believes to follow Him. 

Knowing that the Lord by His touch, 

Can change all within, to make humble, and build the heart in Him, 

By knowing He gave all at Cross to cover all sins forgiven and forgotten forever. 

Before the beginning of time, He knew all our yesterday’s, today’s, and tomorrow’s, 

Still He died to cover and release us from all our sins of yesterday to walk in eternity with Him. 

The power in Faith, is knowing our sins within

Were taken and the price paid for them by Him, upon the Cross of Calvary that day. 

He was there before the beginning of all our yesterdays, 

In addition, He will be there past the end of all our to-days, 

Far beyond all our tomorrows, He is forever He is eternity's day. 

On that day on knees of humbleness, when one prayed to receive, 

And to walk daily beside Him beyond the unknown into eternity,

For His Word will enhance each day to bring change within and build in you Him, 

The Designer, Maker, and Creator, 

To build each day of life anew within His Light,

Love God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul, 

Follow His Word and Love all that He has created. 

Help, encourage, and befriend all in His name, 

By walking with the Lord and building each day in time, 

His Integrity of Character within, 

For He will keep the path of life straight within His Light,

Following God's planned purpose of Life is the meaning of Life. 

Lord, You are the truth, the light, and the way, reach out and guide me each day,
