Loneliness is not Loneliness

Loneliness is not loneliness, when the Lord's Love Lives within the heart. 

Loneliness touches and cries out deep from within the heart, 

The moment a love one departs to be with the Lord, 

A love gone never to return.

When the heart within speaks of them, 

Throughout life special memories will appear 

And return their love that lives therein,

The memories wrapped within to without with thoughts, 

That bring back the moments, 

That thoughts of them within now hold dear, 

And will always keep their love within the heart near, 

To touch and bring back the time-shared, 

The time love given by the One that they now walk near, 

For time was given by Him, 

The time shared by you and them, 

When beside they walked and talked, 

Reached out and touched to bring their love, now within, near. 

That told you then and lives forever within, 

That their love would never depart, 

Even now when they walk near and talk with the Lord. 

Memories are a gift from God that binds the past to the present

And bring into view love's special moments 

To illuminate and brighten to renew the heart of the one left behind,

And heals as only a love that lives within to mend their broken heart!

Loneliness is not loneliness when the Lord's Love Lives within the heart. 

Lord, keep my heart open to receive Your Love Given,

 And heal the hurts of life's loneliness within,
