Oh the Loneliness Felt Within

Oh the loneliness felt within, 

That cries out, 

From the deepest depth of the heart therein,

 At the departing of a love one. 

A love that was so near and so very dear, 

That the heart feels the loss 

At the very moment 

That love steps from life to eternity to be with the Lord. 

The feeling felt within,

It is the loneliness of emptiness

Of a love gone never to return, 

The memory of them.

A love so real and dear, that it tears at the very soul 

The spiritual being therein of the one left behind. 

Remember, that a love so near and so very dear, 

That love was given by God to you, 

It will never depart for it is from the very Heart of God, Himself.

That love will forever be a part of you, 

That is now with the Lord in Him.

Lord, touch my heart and make anew in You every day to see as You,
