When does one become Old?

When does one become Old? 

You're old when you do not see the joy in living. 

You're old when you remember and speak of only the bad in and of life. 

You're old when you only feel within, the heart therein, the hurts and pains of life. 

You're old when the love within has been removed for others. 

You're old when giving has stopped, and the hands no longer reach out, to the needs of others. 

You're old when you see only the past and have no hope for tomorrow. 

You're old when you find something to complain about each day, 

Even knowing within that each and everyday has been given by God to live and enjoy life. 

You're old when you find indifference and complain about the actions of the young, 

And never see the joy within their eyes when they speak of the years that lie ahead for them. 

You're old when you have turned away from Christ and view life as the World views life. 

Become and stay young within, see life again, rebuild and receive life anew in Christ, 

Then God will see the life that lives in Christ in you, 

And you will view life as He views life in you,

For you will see as God sees when Christ truly lives in you. 

Lord, thank You for today and tomorrow, 

And for being there to light the way for all my yesterdays,
