Today, is the Day

Today, is the day 

To take the time to remember, 

We all have so few years ahead 

And so many behind, 

To remind us of the times missed 

In bringing joy and happiness 

To the ones we have touched 

On our travels through this life. 

Yesterday, will always be life in the past 

That can never be changed.

Tomorrow, will always be life a day away 

Which never arrives. 

Today is life, given by God for and by the moment, 

Reach out and take that moment, 

With and under Gods guidance and will 

And bring joy and happiness to the ones in your life.

Lord, may I always remember to encourage someone everyday,
