Conceit and Humbleness 

Something to remember daily, 

Conceit and Humbleness 

Lives within all of us, 

And all have to face daily to allow one or the other

To control the heart within.

A lesson from the past,

One day long ago, a grandfather told his young grandson, 

"A terrible fight is going on inside me daily,

A fight between my two individual personalities,

One is evil conceit,

And represents hate, anger, arrogance, intolerance, and superiority. 

The other is good humbleness, 

And represents self-respect, joy, peace, love, tolerance, understanding, 

Humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, and compassion. 

This same fight is going on inside you and inside everyone else in the world today." 

The young grandson then looked up at his grandfather and asked, 

"Which individual personality will win?" 

The grandfather replied simply, 

"The one you allow to control your heart." 

Praying the Lord builds and guides all of us day by day with His Bread of Life, 

His Word of Truth and Love,

Live everyday in Him and build His humbleness within your Heart,
