God, Make Me Just Like Christ

God, Make Me Just Like Christ 

God, in thought and deed, each and every day, 

As I live my life, I want my life to bring nothing but glory to You. 

In prayer today, I kneel humble in faith before You, 

For You know my heart within follows and builds in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

With an open heart I make this request, 

Remove all indifference from my heart within today, 

And build anew from within to without with only the love of Jesus to share each day. 

Remake me, to be just like Him, remove the scars of life from my memory this day, 

That I not judge another by them nor cast a blind eye in their time of need. 

But see and hear the needs of all around me, as a request of Christ, 

That I reach out to help, carry, or share their load along life's way. 

Renew me in the Word, and build my strength complete each day as I follow Him, 

To seek daily all happiness in and through Him. 

Make my heart beat just like His, with compassion and understanding, 

That I hear and see all as all in Him. 

God as I stand before You, 

Guide and keep my path of life straight daily by and in the Word. 

O' Holy Spirit, within to without build me anew and teach me daily of Him, 

For that day I meet and look upon His Face at God's Table of Grace. 

God, in thought and deed, each and every day, 

As I live my life, I want my life to bring nothing but glory to You. 

Lord, until tomorrow's eternal day with You at God's Table of Grace,

Walk with me and build my heart as a reflection of Your's,
