Review Life's Journey
Take the time, from time to time, and look back and review life's journey.
See the many times God has been faithful and has blessed,
By His wisdom to guide and build within all that follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
See and remember, all the answered prayers,
And all the unanswered prayers also,
For He loves and cares for all of us and knows are every need.
View how others throughout life took the time to build that life,
By saying a kind word, either to encourage along life's way,
Or they expressed to others that placed you within their thoughts.
For many seen and unseen have reached out and touched in love by word and deed
To build in someway to improve your life from within to without,
For God by His wisdom and loving grace has sent them to you,
Daily, be forever grateful for all of them.
All good comes from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Through and by God's wisdom and loving grace.
Amongst all, one will view, the sins of life committed at various times throughout their journey of life,
Many more than anyone would ever want to write of them
Or review to remember over again since knowing and receiving Him.
Always remember, the love Jesus Christ gave for all,
When He paid the price to cover the sins of all forgiven, never to be remembered again.
Pray daily, that by His Strength,
He keeps the path of life straight and builds the Word within,
Until you meet at life's journey's end.
Forever remember, He loves and cares for all.
From time to time, relive that moment when the heart was opened
And He touched to bring and build within Him,
That by one's free will in the faith from within, in total belief and submission to serve
And receive and daily follow Him.
Knowing then that the only thing one would change if they could,
Is the day, one accepted and received Him,
To one sooner to live free forever within His Love!
See again, that moment of time the Holy Spirit came within to guide,
To daily build life from that day forward in the Lord’s Word and Prayer,
For it was God's purpose and plan,
That by one's free will,
All choices would be freely made
And accountable they would be by all.
Knowing then within the heart the Lord will always be there to guide,
No matter the circumstances, even in and through life's darkest night.
He will be there to Light the Way Home
To God's Table of Grace,
There to look upon our Lord and Savior's Face.
Lord, sometimes life has had many more dark nights than I wanted to face,
But then I remembered the darkest night You faced,
I knowing within then, Your strength will bring me through,
